Saturdays 7:30am to 4pm | NewsWelcome Dr. James Robertson, DVMAs we begin a new year, our staff would like to take a moment to welcome Dr. James Robertson, DVM, Diplomate ACVS (American College of Veterinary Surgeons), joining Dr. Paul Rothaug as a valued addition to our surgical staff. Dr.
Robertson is a world renowned equine surgeon and we are proud to announce
Woodland Run as a base of operations for him to continue his surgical
career, following his retirement from the Ohio State University College
of Veterinary Medicine. He will routinely be available for upper airway
consultation, soft tissue surgery, oral surgery, reproductive surgery
and video endoscopy alternative to the treadmill exam (a new method of
evaluating upper airway disease.)Dr. Robertson is a native of British Columbia, Canada and graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1973. Following graduation, he completed an internship and residency in Large Animal Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center. He stayed on at The New Bolton Center as a surgery instructor for two years. In 1978 Dr. Robertson joined the faculty at the Ohio State University as an Equine Soft Tissue Surgeon. He became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in1981. |
